Not applicable.

Understand the constitution and operation of EPS. Be able to design, calculate and deal with high-voltage lines, substations and transformer stations. Become familiar with the different technologies used in supply networks, as well as distributed generation and micro-generation.

1. Electric Power Systems (EPS)
    - Characterization and operation of an EPS
2. Flow loads
    - Per unit system method
3. Overhead and underground electrical power transmission
4. Distribution system
    - Power flow, reactive power and protection in distribution networks
5. Basis of distributed generation, micro-generation and technical conditions for interconnection to the grid

Evaluation Methodology
Written test (65%) and two assignments (practical/laboratorial)- 35%.
