Objectives
1. Final digital files for high quality printing;
2. Best practices for typography, colour management and images;
3. Generating files for offset printing according to ISO 12647.

2.3. Linked or embedded images;
2.4. Appropriate resolution;
3. Fonts management;
3.1. Correction and verification of text;
3.2. Typography and type management;
4. Colour management;
4.1. Color composition;
4.2. Creation and use of ICC profiles;
4.3. Transparencies, trapping and overlapping;
4.4. Application Color Settings;
4.5. Color proof;
5. Indesign Live Preflight tools;
5.1. Creation of PDF files;
5.2. Preflight;
5.3. PDF presets;
6. Indesign package and pdf files;
6.1. Communicate with the printing company;
6.2. Technical specifications.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment: practical assignments (90%) and class participation (10%).
Evaluation in exam: resolution of a complete practical exercise.
