Objectives
Students should be able to:
-acquire and apply a specific set of skills (writing, listening and reading comprehension and grammar), in order to understand and use daily life communication.

Program
1- The English language in daily communication and at work:
1.1- Introducing oneself and others;
1.2- Writing formal and semi formal correspondence;
1.3- Dates and hours;
2- 2- Grammar: elementary and intermediate:
2.1- Definite and indefinite articles;
2.2- Numbers and basic mathematics;
2.3- Personal, demonstrative and interrogative pronouns;
2.4- Possessive pronouns and determiners;
2.5- Prepositions of time and place;
2.6- Degree and order of adjectives;
2.7- Present Simple vs Present Continuous;
2.8- Past Simple vs Past Continuous;
2.9- Future Simple;
2-10- 1st and 2nd Conditionals.

Evaluation Methodology
Two written tests in class during the semester:(60%)

Oral and written exercises/participation in class and class attendance: (20%)

Oral presentation in class (20%).
