Objectives
Skills to be developed: Choosing electrical switchgear and protection; Sizing electrical wiring and protection of people and equipment; Designing and sizing transformer stations and switchboards; Designing interior and security lighting.

Program
Schematics and symbology.
Electrical wiring: types; electrical conductors and cables, conduits; conditions of establishment; sizing.
Low voltage electrical apparatus: command, cutting, maneuver, protection.
Over-currents: overloads and short-circuits, calculation.
Transformer stations and power supply and control switchboards.
Interior lighting and security.
ITED bases.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment based on a practical assignment to be carried out during the semester (40%) and a written test to be taken in the assessment period (60%: theoretical part 30% and practical part 30%).
