TRAINING IN INNOVATION AND CO-CREATION PROCESSES FOR POLYTECHNIC HIGHER EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

FORMAÇÃO TRAINING - PRESENTATION

Registrations for Demola method training action (6th Edition) are open. Funded by POCH, this training is intended for teachers of the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar and teachers of Vocational Schools or Groupings with Vocational Secondary Education.

Implemented in 18 countries, the DEMOLA methodology aims to develop teachers' skills to interact with companies, prepare students to better meet community needs, modernise the educational culture and develop curricula.
The Polytechnic Institute of Tomar is investing in building communities of teachers to promote co-creation projects with companies.  Therefore, six training actions will be promoted during the next three years in this Finnish method (DEMOLA). Each training session will count on the contribution of 10 teachers (8 from IPT and 2 from Vocational Schools). In the training, teachers will learn to use modern and globally applied pedagogical practices, gain confidence to use new tools and methods, enable students to participate in sustainable development and in solving future challenges.

The teachers involved will facilitate, throughout the semester one or more teams of students, together with representatives of companies/institutions and other teachers. Exclusive and free training for polytechnic and professional higher education teachers! For further information click here or contact the Project Coordinator (Célio Gonçalo Marques) email: lied@ipt.pt.
Registrations are also open for the 6th Edition of this DEMOLA training that will take place in this academic year (2022-2023).
