Basics of algebraic calculus.
At the end of the term the students should be able to process and analyse data, particularly with regard to economic indicators, with special emphasis on market research analysis.
1. Descriptive statistics. Descriptive measures and frequency distributions. 2. Combinatorial analysis 3. Probability and random variables. 4. Simple linear regression and correlation.
The same methodology is used for both tests and examinations: 1 written closed-book test marked 0/20 comprising all the subject matters taught during the semester.
