Prerequisites
Intermediate knowledge of Mathematical Analysis I and II and Linear Algebra.

Objectives
An overview of the main concepts on Numerical Methods and Numerical Analysis, namely on the numerical algorithms for linear systems of equations, nonlinear equations and nonlinear equation systens, polynomial interpolation, numerical integration and ordinary differential equations.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment: two written tests and computer-aided projects.
Exam assessment: one written test.
