On completion of the course the students should
.understand the key concepts, theories and approaches to Human Resources Management (HRM)
.be familiar with the research methologies used in HRM
. be aware of the significance of HRM in personal interrelationships and self-knowledge.

The place and role of HRM in the context of business evolution. The different factors at HRM level. Articulation of HRM practices with business strategies. Administrative management. Legal framework. Analysis and discussion of professional duties. The performance appraisal system. Career organisation and planning. Staff recruitment.
