    Because it is located in a city in Central Portugal and therefore close to everything. And the quality of life is excellent. Besides, the cost of life is much lower.

    Our institution has just over two thousand students distributed among the three schools, a fact that brings people closer to our community. This close relationship involves employees, non-teaching staff and faculty who ensure the quality of teaching. Therefore, we are one of the best options to study in Portugal, both in terms of cost and quality.

    Applicants who apply through the national admission system have to access the DGES website and select the IPT as one of the application options (inserting the code).

    If you have a secondary school diploma (12th grade), you just have to contact the one-stop shop [BUn/SPOC] to apply.

    All secondary school courses (12th grade) and legally equivalent qualifications provide access to higher education. On an equal footing, a foreign secondary school diploma may be deemed equivalent to national qualifications. The application system includes the national admission scheme and special admission schemes as follows:
    National admission scheme: a nationwide examination;

    • Special Admission Schemes - In accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law 393-A/99, Portuguese employees abroad and their families may benefit from special conditions, as well as top athletes, provided that all the provisions of the Laws in force are met;
    • Special Calls for Applications for International Students;
    • Special applications for foundation programmes (CTeSP).
