A delegation from the Polytechnic University of Tomar (UPTomar) travelled to the University of Camerino (UNICAM) in Italy to participate in KreativEU Week, taking place from 26 to 31 October.
The opening ceremony was held on 27 October and featured addresses by João Freitas Coroado, Rector of UPTomar and President of KreativEU, and Célio Gonçalo Marques, Vice-Rector of UPTomar and Secretary-General of the Alliance.
One of the highlights of the programme will be the KreativEU Info Day, scheduled for 28 October, coinciding with the opening ceremony of the academic year at the University of Camerino. The initiative will provide partner universities with an opportunity to present their institutions, academic opportunities, research activities, and international mobility programmes, fostering the exchange of experiences and promoting a better understanding of the different academic environments represented within the Alliance.
UPTomar is also represented by Vice-Rector Natércia Santos, Pro-Rectors Rita Anastácio and João Patrício, as well as academics and KreativEU members Olinda Sequeira, Eugénio de Almeida, Luís Francisco, Hermínia Sol, Ana Lopes, Cristina Costa, Conceição Catroga, and João Pedro Paulo.
Throughout the week, the event aims to strengthen relationships between partner institutions, stimulate new opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration, and deepen international cooperation, contributing to the development of a shared future for KreativEU as a European University Alliance.
