KreativEU Colloquium | Heritage and Social Transformations
The Polytechnic University of Tomar will host the 3rd KreativEU Colloquium for Ph.D. Students, under the theme “Heritage and Social Transformations.” The event will take place in Tomar from November 11 to 13 in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online participation.
The Polytechnic University of Tomar will host the 3rd KreativEU Colloquium for Ph.D. Students, focusing on the theme “Heritage and Social Transformations.” The event will take place in Tomar from November 11 to 13 in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and online participation.
Organised as part of the KreativEU – Knowledge and Creativity European University, the colloquium aims to create a space for interdisciplinary dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the establishment of international networks among early-career researchers.
The event will focus on the relationships between heritage, sustainability, and social transformation, encouraging participants to present innovative research approaches and reflect on their contribution to contemporary challenges.
Registration can be completed using the following registration form. Registration without a paper presentation will remain open until October 31.
New deadline for abstract submission: October 10
Abstracts must be between 180 and 250 words and include the following elements:
• Title: clear and concise (up to 12 words);
• Keywords: 3 keywords, different from those used in the title;
• Research objectives;
• Methodology and context: materials, data, or context under study;
• Results: expected or already obtained;
• Impact and contribution: scientific and societal impact, ideally related to social transformations and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
• Conclusions / Final remarks.
With the support of the UNESCO Chair at KEU and the UNESCO Chair at IPT in Humanities and Integrated Management of the Cultural Landscape, this colloquium serves as an important platform for promoting international collaboration, interdisciplinary approaches, and the enhancement of cultural awareness.
