Professor Luiz Oosterbeek na Conferência Anual da Academia Europaea
Professor Luiz Oosterbeek was introduced as a new member at the Academia Europaea's annual conference.
The event took place between 9 and 11 October and the Director of the Geosciences Centre - Quaternary and Human Adaptations Cluster at IPT was congratulated by the Academy's president, Marja Makarow.
The lecturer and member of the IPT General Council will be part of the "History and Archaeology" section, and will also be associated with the "Social Change and Social Thought" section.
As part of the event, Luiz Oosterbeek also presented a conference entitled "Moving stones or imagining borders in the most western seaboard of Europe: migrating objetcs, knowlege and people".
The Academia Europaea is a pan-European academy covering all fields of academic research, including the humanities, law, social sciences, maths, medicine and all branches of the natural and technological sciences. It aims to promote European research, advise governments and international organisations on scientific issues, and promote interdisciplinary and international research.
