Professor Luiz Oosterbeek intervém na Conferência Geral da Unesco
Luiz Oosterbeek, Full Professor at IPT, spoke on 13th November at the Unesco General Conference representing the scientific field of Humanities.
In his speech, he criticised the distance between countries and Unesco itself in relation to some of its founding principles and called for closer cooperation with Unesco in the field of Humanities.
He also revealed that 2024 will be the 75th anniversary of the International Council of Philosophy and Human Sciences and invited countries to organise initiatives in this context.
The Polytechnic of Tomar will host one of these initiatives next March.
