Professor João Paulo Pereira de Freitas Coroado was sworn in as President of the Polytechnic of Tomar (IPT) for the next four-year term on 22 November, at a ceremony held in the José Bayolo Pacheco de Amorim Auditorium on the Tomar campus.

The professor has been reappointed to the post he has held since 2019, assuring that he is ready for a new cycle in the leadership of the higher education institution with schools in Tomar and Abrantes.

As a result, the Board now has two professors as Vice-Presidents - Nuno Madeira and Natércia Santos - and a new Deputy President - Célio Marques. In total, the President's team is now made up of two Vice-Presidents and three Deputy Presidents (Rita Anastácio, João Patrício and Célio Marques).
