The Centro de Estudos em Fotografia de Tomar (CEFT - Casa dos Cubos) is organising free-time activities for children with an interest in photography between 17 and 28 July.

"Learning to Photograph" is the name of the action aimed at participants between 11 and 14 years old. The aim is to provide a first contact with analogue photography through experimental projects and simple procedures.

The first module, focused on children aged between 11 and 13, starts on 17 July. The programme includes reading and interpreting a photography exhibition, photographic drawing, the lensless camera and planning and setting up an exhibition.
The first week of the activity ends on 21 July and registration costs €20.

Aspiring photographers aged between 12 and 14 can take part in Module 2, which will allow them to explore the analogue camera and its mechanisms, taking photographs with black and white film, the enlargement laboratory, as well as planning and setting up an exhibition. 

The second phase of the initiative runs from 24 to 28 July. Registration costs €30.

All activities will be conducted by monitors.
