The ERASMUSCENTRO Consortium, which includes the eight Polytechnics of the Central Region: Tomar, Leiria, Portalegre, Coimbra, Viseu, Castelo Branco, Portalegre, Guarda and Santarém, met at the Polytechnic of Leiria on June 20, with the aim of monitoring the Erasmus+ conventions under development, as well as the approved applications. The IPT was represented by the head of the IRO, Maria Catroga.

The Consortium maintains an excellent performance in terms of the implementation of mobilities, as well as in encouraging the internal dynamics of the institutions through the sharing of good practices and joint activities among the members of the network. The members of the consortium discussed new internationalization strategies, through partnerships with other existing consortia on other continents, thus increasing their network of action and allowing the definition of other activities involving foreign institutions.
