Objectives
Students must be able to:
- Organize, plan and manage any type of event.
- Plan and manage tourist entertainment programs according to tourist destinations and companies in the sector.
- Design products based on the events sector integrated in a tourist and cultural package.
- Understand the relationship between events and tourist activity;
- Know the motivations of tourists who visit events;
- Understand the activity of tourist entertainer and know the resources that are available for tourist entertainment.
- Getting closer to SDG 11 - Making cities and communities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable and SDG 12 - Ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns based on the management and organization of events and tourist entertainment

Evaluation Methodology
1.1. Continuous evaluation:

1.1. Continuous assessment tests - equivalent to 30% of the final grade;

1.2. Work # 1 (group) - is equivalent to 40% of the final grade;

1.3. Paper # 2 (individual) - is equivalent to 30% of the final grade.

2. Examination period:

2.1. The classification in the written exam is equivalent to 100% of the grade for students who did not participate in the continuous assessment.

2.2. In the case of students who participated in the continuous assessment and failed, but whose work was successful, these will be included in the final assessment with value in line with the time of attendance.

2.3. At the time of appeal, the works are not counted in the final grade. The exam is equivalent to 100% of the final grade to UC.

Teaching Method
Two types of classes:
a) Lectures focusing on explanatory presentations (critical analysis and student participation);
b) Theoretical-practical classes (case studies and brainstorming).
