Objectives
The students will be provided with the basics of the techniques used in recording archaeological fieldwork.
Program
Definition of field recording in archaeology; Field recording in the context of research work, prevention and in archaeological impact studies; different types of field recording; the main methods of archaeological excavation and the specificity of each recording.
Evaluation Methodology
Assessment includes class attendance (15%), class performance (20%) and a final assignment (65%). Minimum pass mark:10 out of 20.
