Objectives

Study of the sciences and information technology, with regard to understanding the data, information andknowledge with a view to their application in management information systems, in order to solve problems,support professionals in the decision making task, increasing the safety, effectiveness and organizational efficiency.The study cycle aims to train information managers, endowed with knowledge and skills that enable themto lead and guide the design and development of information systems as well as set, alone orcollaboratively, strategies, methodologies and tools leading to the promotion of innovation and increased efficiency of organizational processes. It also has as objective to study scientific and technologicalsolutions for the implementation of organizational management processes guided by knowledge,promoting teaching, research and extension on knowledge as a key component of business competitiveness.
