Objectives
At the end of the curricular unit students must:
Understand the basic concepts of museology and heritage in terms of sustainable development;
Use knowledge in museological approaches that value natural and cultural heritage for tourist enjoyment by various audiences.

1. Introduction
1.1. Museums and Agenda 2030. Concepts and articulations.
2. The function of museology.
3. Territorial patrimonialization.
4. Museological management of cultural heritage and applied research
5. Reflection on the program and its execution: contribution to societal challenges and the 17 SDGs
6. Closing and evaluation
Evaluation Methodology
a) Theoretical exposure classes.
b) Practical exercise classes
c) Technical visits to museums.

The Practical Work Report demonstrating the work carried out in the practical component is mandatory, both in the assessment in frequency and in the exam.
