Objectives
1.Apply, consolidate and further develop scientific, technical and ethical knowledge acquired in the academic context, through planning and programming, grounding its application in the specific area and specialisation of the internship.
2.Develop critical thinking and reflective capacity regarding theoretical, ethical and deontological principles, integrating such reflection into analysis, decision?making and conservation?restoration practice.
3.Deepen and apply scientific, technical and methodological concepts relevant to the object of study and intervention, as well as to the area and specialisation of conservation and restoration, demonstrating sound justification and critical reflection in the written report.
4.Develop skills in documentation, recording and communication of the intervention, in accordance with institutional standards and international best practices in conservation and restoration.
5.Develop sociorelational skills and integrate into the working dynamics of the host institution, collaborating with teams in collections preservation, conservation and restoration, and museology, and understanding procedures, responsibilities and workflows.
Program
The content varies according to the object of study and intervention, as well as the area and specialization of the internship in conservation and restoration.
Evaluation Methodology
The assessment is carried out through the dissertation and its public discussion with a jury that includes an examiner from outside the IPT and any organisations involved in the work.
