Objectives
A. To regard documentary editing as a writing process;
B. To be aware of the importance of organising and defining working methods;
C. To master the technical aspects of editing and exporting to different media;
D. To be familiar with the technical operation of display circuits
Program
a. Re-creating the discourse of others: editing a film directed by others;
b. Creating a discourse for others: The concept of viewer inherent to the editing process;
c. Technical observations.
Evaluation Methodology
Continuous assessment:
A) Attendance and active class participation - 40%
B) End-of-term assignment - 60%.
Exam and resit:
A) Final assignment and work process specifications - 100%
