Objectives
A. To understand the authoring role of the editor in a filmmaking project;
B. To understand the concept of editing/montage;
C. To be able to plan and carry out a film editing project;
D. To know the basics of operating a video editing software.
Program
a. The editors authorship;
b. Concept of filmmaking device;
c. Review concepts related to the narratives internal structure and functioning;
d. Organisation and planning of an editing project;
e. Introduction to editing software and development of the major techniques.
