Objectives
Students will be provided with in-depth expertise in Probabilities and Statistics, which are crucial in a technology course to understand the role of statistical data analysis in the decision-making process and related risks.

2. Data analysis, representation and reduction.
3. Sampling.
4. Introduction to probabilities.
5. Random variables.
6. Theoretical Distributions.
7. Introduction to estimation.
8. Hypothesis tests.
9. Simple linear regression.
Evaluation Methodology
Mid-term assessment: three tests with a minimum of 7/20 in at least two tests.
Final assessment: final exam.
