Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Probability and Descriptive Statistics.
Objectives
Students should learn to build, use and interpret basic tools of statistical inference. The statistical package SPSS will be used to illustrate the application of the methods presented, the students should be able to draw conclusions from the outputs produced.
Program
1- Estimation.
2- Parametric Hypothesis Tests.
3- Analysis of Variance.
4- Nonparametric Hypothesis Tests.
5- Linear Regression.
6- Introduction to statistical package SPSS.
Evaluation Methodology
Final assessment: final exam.
