Objectives
A.To understand the authoring role of the editor in a filmmaking project;
B. To understand the concept of editing/montage;
C. To be able to plan and carry out a film editing project;
D. To know and master the basics of operating a video editing software.
Program
1. The editors authorship;
2. Concept of filmmaking device;
3. Review concepts related to the narratives internal structure and functioning;
4. Organisation and planning of an editing project;
5. Introduction to editing software and development of the major techniques.
6. Cinema rhetoric and techniques.
