Characterization of energy resources, fuel types and forms of fuels production. Effects of production and use of energy resources on the environment. Kyoto Protocol and the carbon market. Fundamentals of wastewater treatment technologies.
Continuous evaluation, which may include the preparation of synthesis papers and solving exercises, and final assessment through a written test.
