Objectives
Sensitise the students to the astounding variety of possible interpretations of an artwork.
Provide a historical overview of the different methodologies across time.
Provide the students with the knowledge and tools that will enable them to understand the artistic language.

1. Introduction to the interpretation of artworks.
2. Artwork analysis methods.
3. Iconography and symbology: the value of images.
Evaluation Methodology
Individual Project work (80%).
