Objectives
The students should be able to understand the scope and limits of research in social science, develop interest and critical skills in issues that may be the subject of research, become familiar with research principles and organise and plan research projects.

Evaluation Methodology
In-class coursework (30%) + 1 written assignment and oral presentation (40% + 30%)
Mid-term assessment: written test (70%) + a critical review (30%)
exam: closed-book written test.
