Prerequisites
Intermediate knowledge of the English language.

Objectives
At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
? use technical vocabulary and sentence structures of intermediate complexity;
? produce different types of text such as synopses, descriptions, e-mails and formal letters.

Program
1 ? New trends in Tourism;
2 ? Types of accommodation;
3 ? Tourist information;
4 ? Motoring and giving directions:
5 ? Intermediate grammar structures.

Evaluation Methodology
Continuous Assessment guidelines:

SPEAKING AND READING: 50%
CLASS PRESENTATION: 20%
WRITING + MINITESTS: 30%

Students must obtain a minimum of 8 points in each of these rubrics for average purposes.

Exam for those who failed or didn't attend the test (100%)
