Objectives
a) Develop and deepen knowledge about critical thinking in Contemporary Art and Photography; contributing to an understanding of photography as part of a broader cultural process;
b) Cross information on critical thinking in Contemporary Art and Photography, building a relational vision and reciprocal contagion between photographic practice in particular and art in general;
c) Provide analysis tools adapted to a critical reflection on the practice of photography, so that students can build a written, articulated, solid and personal discourse having as a starting point a personal image referent or that of others;
d) Identify the contingencies of critical thinking in the practice of Photography in contemporary times, considering that any event is always hostage to its context, the relationships between artistic production and the contextual particularity and specificity of its production and materialization are always constitutive and constructive of the work itself.

Program
1. Operative fields and definition of concepts having as a starting point the production side, to develop a critical and operative awareness about the implications of the productive act in the exhibition moment and vice versa;

3. Contemporary art in general and the practice of Photography in particular, analyzed in terms of their multiple directions and conceptual contingencies. The practice of photography juxtaposed and in a symbiotic relationship with the context of time and space.
