Objectives
Understand and use the techniques and fundamental concepts most used in the analysis of electrical circuits.

Program
Fundamental components of electrical circuits. Kirchhoff's Laws. Systematic methods of circuit analysis. Fundamental theorems of electrical circuits. Analysis of 1st order circuits. Circuits in alternating current; passive filters.

Evaluation Methodology
Written tests carried out during the semester, or final exam, and laboratory work. Final classification (CF) in the Curricular Unit:
CF=0.7E+0.3P
Where:
E: average of the classifications in the tests or classification in the Exam;
P: average of the classifications in the laboratory works.
Minimum classifications for approval:
CF>=9.5 in 20; E>=8.5 in 20; P>=9.5 in 20

Theoretical-practical classes for oral presentation of the subject and for problem solving; practical-laboratory classes for problem solving and for conducting laboratory work on the given subject.
