The students should be able to develop, systematise and apply technical and scientific skills acquired in the programme of study (namely Theory of Structures, Building Structures, Structural Concrete Estrutural, Structural Reiforcement of Concrete, Foundations and Support Structures, Construction Site Management and Safety, General Construction Processes I and II and Building Physics) by designing a reinforced concrete structure and analysing a complete construction project. This module is mainly based upon those of Structures and Constructions.
1.Structures. 1.1 Design and pre-dimensioning of a concrete structure. 1.2 Analysis and dimensioning of a structural system. 1.3 Drawing up of a structural project.
2. Construction. 2.1 Project measurements. 2.2 Plan and Budget. 2.3 Construction site planning. 2.4 Health and Safety Plan and Construction and Demolition Waste Control and Management Plan. 2.5 Acoustic compliance check.
Final grade is the arithmetic average of all the marks obtained in the modules Structures and Constructions.
Submission of all assignments prescribed for the two modules within the deadlines is mandatory.
