Objectives
Students will acquire the fundamentals of hydraulics that will allow them to solve practical problems such as calculating flow rates, pressure drops and hydraulic power, designing ducts and pipes and channels, investigating the pressure surge phenomenon and measuring flow rates.

1. Fluid properties 2. Hydrostatics 3. Hydrokinematics 4. Concepts and Fundamentals of Hydrodynamics 5. A global overview of flows. 6. Steady-state flow resistance laws 7. Constant flows under pressure 8. Variable flows under pressure 9. Free-surface flows 10. Nozzle flow and discharging channels.
Evaluation Methodology
