Prerequisites
Knowledge of the English language (Level B1.1)

Objectives
Students should be able to:
- apply a set of skills (linguistic and sociocultural) in specific communicative situations within the area of Mechanical Engineering;
- use comprehension and text production skills in order to achieve language accuracy using grammar and structure rules accordingly.
Students must also understand and contribute to the access of inclusive education, of equitable quality and have access to learning opportunities throughout everybody's life.

Evaluation Methodology
-All elements referred in the Continuous Assessment are compulsory.
- A written test at the end of semester: 60%
- Continuous cooperation in class, including practice and class discussion (written and oral) and attendance- 10%
- Research assignment (written and oral) - 30%

For working-students or other similar cases:
- A written test at the end of semester: 70%
- Research assignment (written and oral) - 30% (15% written and 15/ oral)

The students who don't get a minimum of 10 grade points or haven´t done one of the elements are admitted to exam.

Exams
- Written exam - 70%
- Research assignment with presentation - 30%

When the students haven't done or presented their research assignment throughout the semester, they must do it on the same day as the exam.
