Objectives
O1. Know the main methods of examination and analysis used in the study of cultural heritage
O2. Develop skills that enable the students to correctly use and interpret the information provided by these methods
O3. Promote multidisciplinarity in the study and conservation of cultural heritage

C2. Examination methods making use of visible radiation
C3. Colour description and characterisation

C6. Multi and hyperspectral imaging

C10. Classical methods of chemical analysis
C11. X-ray fluorescence spectrometry
C12. Infrared spectrsocopy

C14. X-Ray diffraction
C15. Mass spectrometry
C16. Gas chromatography

Evaluation Methodology
Evaluation with two components: practical component evaluated through reports and works related to the PL classes (40%) and theoretical component evaluated through mini-tests in class or written exam (60%). Anyone who does not score at least 9 points in the practical component is excluded from the examination. Approval is obtained with an average of at least 10 points, provided that the exam grade is 9 or higher.
