Objectives
The curricular unit has as its central objective to develop structuring knowledge about tourism. Thus, it is intended to approach in a critical, analytical and pedagogical way with concepts, themes and theoretical analyzes of tourist activity. In addition, to stimulate the capacity for analytical observation, academic commitment to readings and participation in the classroom.

Evaluation Methodology
The student will be assessed continuously according to active participation in classes, as well as through written test. Two evaluation tests will be carried out with a valuation of 45% each, giving a total of 90% of the grade. In addition, the student will be asked to read scientific articles related to the subject addressed in the room with the answer to a question sheet that at the end of the semester will represent 10% of the grade. The final value will be attributed through the sum of the three evaluative moments (45% + 45% + 10% = 100%).
