Objectives
The aim of this course is to promote theoretical and practical learning based on real cases of healthcare aspects, particularly in hospital contexts.
Program
1 - Introduction: Basic Settings. Resources. The hospital resources. The hospital management structure 2 - The bureaucracy in hospitals. 3 - Resource allocation. 4 - Management of facilities and equipment. 5 - Management Information Systems. 6 - Human Resources Management. 7 - Administration of medication.
Evaluation Methodology
Preparation of a written essay including presentation and peer questioning worth 40% of the overall average mark + 1 written test.
