The 14th edition of the Bibliotecando literary festival in Tomar will be held on 3 and 4 May at the Tomar Municipal Library Auditorium, with Professor Guilherme d' Oliveira Martins as chairman of the Honorary Committee.

"From hostility to hospitality: a path of peace" is the guiding theme of this year's debates. This initiative has the High Patronage of His Excellency the President of the Republic and is organised by the Polytechnic of Tomar, Nuno de Santa Maria School Group, Templários School Group, Tomar Town Council, "Os Templários" Training Centre, the National Culture Centre and the School Library Network.

This year's event will pay tribute to Angolan historian, teacher and writer Ana Paula Tavares, whose work will be analysed and interpreted by experts and readers.
