Two journalists graduated from ESTA’s Media Studies Degree are taking part tomorrow in two open lectures with current students. Organised by the second-year students of the Journalism pathway, the event will have the contribution of Sónia Simões from Observador and Bruno Sousa Ribeiro from TSF who will be speaking about Research Journalism and Fakenews.
Sónia Simões took her first degree at ESTA and has several years of professional experience as a journalist. More recently, she has undertaken a series of research reports about child abuse within church institutions. This Open Lecture on research journalism will take place next Wednesday 29 May, in room 1 of ESTA at 10:00am.
Graduated from ESTA, Bruno Sousa Ribeiro trained in Sports Journalism with TSF and since then has been specializing in the area. He has recently embraced a new professional project, now in the area of television, called Eleven Sports. This Open Lecture on research journalism will take place next Wednesday 29 May, in room 1 of ESTA at 2:00pm.
These sessions are specially designed for first-year students, but are open to anyone who has an interest in participating.
