Prerequisites
Basics of financial calculus and statistics

Objectives
The objective of this course is to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the financial system in relation to markets and financial products, as well as an overview of the international financial system. This will enable them to prepare for management in a global context.

Program
1 - General concepts of the financial market
2 - Issuing and Trading Financial Products
3 - Money Markets
4 - Capital Markets
5 - Globalisation and international business;
6 - International investment decisions;
7 - Selection of foreign markets;

Evaluation Methodology
The course will be assessed by a final examination. However, students may be exempted from this requirement by taking 1 written test (worth 70%) and 1 assignment (worth 30%).
