Objectives
To study the fundamental concepts of Distributed Systems (DCS), with a special emphasis on their application to digital control systems. To know the architecture, the communication models and DCS digital communication technologies, the main communication protocols, fieldbuses and SCADA systems. Introduction to the wireless sensor networks (WSN) and Internet of Things (IoT) in industrial environments such as IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, WirelessHart and ISA100. Introduction to Real-Time Control Systems. Study and analysis of the specific aspects of real-time systems applied in embedded systems.
