The exhibition "River, a Sentimental Geography" by João Henriques will open next Saturday, November 19th at 3.30 p.m. at CEFT - Centro de Estudos em Fotografia de Tomar (Casa dos Cubos), as part of Tomar Photography Week.

An exhibition about a photographic project carried out in the area where the Nabão River flows through whose "sentimental geography" unfolds on a journey between its source, in Ansião, and its mouth, south-east of Tomar, along which João Henriques and his family were born. The title, with an affective and symbolic slant, is about memory and strolling around and about feeling and sensing where the images try, however, to go beyond visual sentimentality and autobiographical connections, rather unfolding with possibilities of aesthetic, spatial and sensorial exploration.

The exhibition can be visited until January 21, 2023 on Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, and on weekends from 2pm to 5pm.
