LIED.IPT - Laboratory for Pedagogical Innovation and Distance Education
Enquadramento
In a fast changing society, it is essential that education provides methodologies and tools that promote a more dynamic and participatory teaching and learning process, suitable to current students and their needs (Anastasopoulos et al., 2017). The search for and implementation of active learning methodologies (i.e. Project Based learning, Flippedclassroom), as well as distance learning methodologies, have therefore become a priority in higher education (Marques et al., 2017). It is based on this reality that the Instituto Politécnico of Tomar created in 2019 the Pedagogical Innovation and Distance Learning Laboratory as part of its strategic goal "Promoting Pedagogical Innovation and Development of the Training Offer" (Coroado, 2018).
