The Smart Cities Research Center (Ci2) integrates an interdisciplinary group of researchers to bring together the knowledge and skills needed to solve the complex problems associated with creating Intelligent and Sustainable Cities and Environments. Its main objectives are to promote innovation, facilitating the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge in close collaboration with the business and social network, to contribute to advanced training, and to collaborate on strategies for regional, national and international development.
Ci2 is a research unit funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) UIDB/05567/2020.
