In the polytechnic system, the academic cycle leading to the bachelor´s degree corresponds to 180 credits and has a normal duration of six curricular semesters. One full-time curricular semester corresponds to the work carried out in 40 weeks (1620 hours, i.e. 40.5 hours per week in average). The number of credits corresponding to the work carried out full-time over a period of a year is 60 and the one corresponding to a semester is 30. One ECTS credit corresponds to a 27-hour workload.
