The new undergraduate degree in Building and Site Management results from a partnership between the IPT and the Escola Superior de Actividades Imobiliárias (ESAI).

It is an innovative degree programme because it combines technical building expertise and management in an attempt to address the lack of higher-level professionals in a fast-growing sector.

The aim is to broaden the professional skills of those who wish to work in real estate project management , construction, maintenance, building renovation and other building related activities, specially becoming part of multidisciplinary teams in these areas as well as training and research.

Taking advantage of ESAI’s expertise in real estate management and IPT’s expertise in construction, heritage and building renovation, this partnership aims to address the market needs in terms of higher-level practitioners in these areas.
