João Luz, film director and coordinator of the Degree in Documentary Film at the  Instituto Politécnico de Tomar will premiere his most recent documentary - Marca d'água (2022). This work is part of the PAPER TRAILS research project being developed by the Centre for Technology, Restoration and Art Enhancement (TECHN&ART) and the École de Design et Haute École d'Art du Valais (EDHEA).
This documentary film reflects on the effects of the industrialisation, taking the extinct paper mills of Tomar as a starting point. For this, it counts with the participation not only of specialists connected to the paper industry, but also with former employees of the Paper Mill of Prado in Tomar whose stories have been translated to the screen and can be seen on the next May 26th, at the Cineteatro Paraiso, at 7pm.

Entrance is free. However, and anticipating possible restrictions due to COVID-19, it is advisable to reserve tickets by emailing pptrails@gmail.com
