Tourism Meeting Point is an initiative of the Tourism programmes offered at IPT, in particular the modules Business Tourism and Internship, with the aim of providing the students with the opportunity to meet and network with business professionals.   This meeting is intended to share experiences and ideas with businessmen and practitioners in the tourism sector and create a space for reflection and debate that will support our students.

Miguel Martins has been CEO for GALA group since May 2016. GALA Group operates in the area of Tourism Consultancy and Marketing and has reached about ten million people in 2018. Currently, GALA is present in 35 spaces all around the Iberian Peninsula.

Jorge Rodrigues da Silva is the executive director and coordinator for the national volunteering of the BONS SONS Festival. He has been the chairman of the board of the Sport Club Operário de Cem Soldos (SCOCS) since January 2018. Founded in 1981, SCOCS is a not-for-profit organisation and has developed work in several areas related with social, cultural, sports and recreational activities.
