We are building an intelligent ecosystem.

This is the motto of our stand, which seeks to present the existing synergies in the city, especially between the City Council of Abrantes, the TAGUSVALLEY - Science and Technology Centre and the Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Abrantes – Instituto Politécnico de Tomar (ESTA.IPT).

A municipality that invests on innovation and the construction of an intelligent territory.

A municipality that draws on their existing talents and innovation capacity, but which also offers excellent conditions for the establishment of new companies, particularly technology-based.

Integrated in four main axes - Smart Economy, Smart Living, Smart Governance and Smart Environment - the projects implemented and under way in several areas will be presented - R&D, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI):

PEOPLE DETECTION AND TRACKING
Computer vision system for people detection and tracking developed by ESTA-IPT.

ROV- REMOTE OPERATED VEHICLE
Locomotion system in aquatic and terrestrial environment, developed under the project AQUATROPOLIS - a disruptive technology framework that allows smart, optimised and automated management, control and operation of multi-trophic aquaculture in semi-intensive systems.

The AQUATROPOLIS Project was developed by a consortium of partners in particular COMPTA, TAGUSVALLEY, Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, Instituto Politécnico de Tomar, ALGAPLUS E DOMÓTICA and was funded as part of the project COMPETE 2020 ELIP - BICICLETA DE RODAS ELÍPTICAS

Individual R&D project sponsored by the company Autoforese Lda, with LINE.IPT – Laboratório de Inovação Industrial e Empresarial, located in TAGUSVALLEY as the R&D partner. The project involved the development, prototyping and testing of the elliptical eccentric rotation mechanism of the elliptic wheel - patent EN 14764. The project was co-financed by INALENTEJO under the Incentive Scheme for R&D of COMPETE - Operational Program Competitiveness Factors QREN 2007-2013.

During the fair two ELIP bicycles will be on display available for trial.

CUSCARIAS: Sharing Emotions, Inspiring your place                  

Digital platform for sharing information and experiences related to experiences in spaces, places and monuments. Platform developed as part of a course project by students of ESTA-ipt which is about to be marketed.

Virtual Reality Space Shuttle Prototype
Prototype that enables the immersion of the player inside a 3D spacecraft using Samsung Gear VR as HMD (Head Mount Device) in a virtual reality environment. Project developed by ESTA-ipt and TECHFRAME (Gaming & Entertainment), a firm established in TAGUSVALLEY - Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia.

Tour | Pyx                     

Mobile application that allows, making use of Augmented Reality, the tourist promotion of a site through interactive scripts in real gaming base. Platform developed by ESTA-ipt students, who created Immersive Pyx, a start-up incubated in TAGUSVALLEY – Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia.

Rescue | Pyx                  

Interface that uses Augmented Reality for auto extrication in order to understand the points of danger and the technical details of each vehicle, as well as gather the scenery for posterior 3D construction to be applied in training and accidents. Platform developed by ESTA-ipt students, who created Immersive Pyx, a start-up incubated in TAGUSVALLEY – Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia.
